Candidates who are planning to go for the admission into Commerce Course, have to successfully pass their Bachelor Degree in Commerce courses,or Science courses. Candidates from other streams,(except Science stream) can’t apply for Masters. There is no age bar. Candidates should have more than 50% in total aggregate, except reservation category, who need to have 40-45% in total aggregate. There is no Entrance Exam as such, but some Universities, have their common Entrance test.
Candidates who have completed their education with a (10+2) board exam from any recognized board or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent.
Candidates from Commerce stream and Science Stream, can only apply for Bachelor in Commerce. There is no age bar.
Candidates should have more than 50% in total aggregate, except reservation category, who need to have 45% in total aggregate.
The fee structures differs from one college to the other in Kolkata, depending on the reputation and the facilities available in the respective colleges. However the average fee structure in the top colleges takes around 43,000 -55000 INR.
The number of seats available for admission in B.Com course varies from college to college.In most of the cases almost 50% of the total seats are reserved for SC, ST, PH candidates. Some cases 25 % is meant for reserved category if the total number of seats are very less.
